With my hot glue gun, I started with the edges and placed lines of hot glue about two inches long. You have to move quickly and carefully because that glue dries fast. And don’t forget to push those pom poms into the glue, so they stick better! I made sure to get them close together, too, so there wouldn’t be any big empty spaces.

Once I was done attaching all of the pom poms, I took a step back to check it out. I noticed a few empty spaces and quickly filled those in with the leftover pom poms. Next, I put some hot glue in the bare spots and used skewers to push the pom poms down into the glue.

Now that the glue is dry, carefully go around and pull off any strings that might have been left behind from the hot glue gun. This will make your wreath look so much cleaner!

Frequently Asked Questions

What glue do you use for pom poms?

I recommend using a hot glue gun and hot glue sticks to attach pom poms. Hot glue provides a strong, fast-drying bond, perfect for attaching pom poms to various surfaces. Just make sure you’re using a glue gun that’s safe for the material you’re gluing to the pom poms, and always handle hot glue with care, as it can get scalding hot.
