Summer is in full swing, and I am so excited about it! I love traveling, going to new places, and trying new food. Even though I do these things throughout the year, summer seems to be when it happens the most. Here are some of my favorite things of places from June 2021.
Things That I Love (June 2021)
Moleskine Classic Expanded Notebook
I love bullet journaling because it helps me keep all of my ideas and thoughts together. It also helps me stay organized, running my own business, and keeping up with my son’s activities as well. Unfortunately, all of the bullet journals I had before didn’t have enough pages, so I would have to get a new book in the middle of the year. The Moleskine Classic Expanded Notebook has 400 pages, so I am sure that it will make it through 365 days of my busy life. This book is excellent. The only con is the pages are a little thin, so you have to be careful with what kind of markers and pens you use with it, but other than that, I love it!
Rub-On Transfers and Stickers from Dollar Tree
I just told you how much I love bullet journaling. I’ve watched many bullet journal videos on YouTube, and those content creators always create the most elaborate themes. I tried to do all of that before, but it was overwhelming and way too time-consuming. I have recently discovered Dollar Tree Rub-On Transfers and Stickers. It has helped to simplify my journal decorating time while still keeping it cute!
Mildliner Double Ended Highlighter by Zebra
I was in Target, and I saw the Zebra Mildliners hanging on the shelf, so I thought I would give them a try. I like them because they are bright and transparent like a highlighter but with a much softer tone. I enjoy using these markers.
The Flower Child Restaurant
My birthday was this month, and to celebrate, my husband got our family some food from The Flower Child Restaurant. They have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, but you can also add meat or protein to your food as well. I ordered The Glow Bowl and added shrimp to it. My food was so delicious and had so much flavor. It tasted fresh, as if they picked all of the ingredients from a garden right behind the restaurant or something. They have 28 locations around the country, so you should check them out if there is a location nearby!
Method Furniture Polish
I love Method Daily Wood Cleaner because it’s made with plant-based, non-toxic ingredients, it smells great, and it really works! My furniture always looks great after I use it!
Universal Blue Light Blocking Screen Protector Panel
I have been dealing with eyestrain lately and I think it’s because after starting my own blog, I have been spending a lot more time staring at the computer. I recently purchased this Blue Light Protection Screen for my computer to help with my symptoms. Although, I have only been using it for about two weeks, so far it seems to have helped. If you are having the same problems, I have also turned the brightness of my computer down and turned the Night Light setting on.
Sharpie S-Gel Pen
I love a good pen! I know that is a weird statement to make, but I love nice pens especially fun, decorative, and colorful ones that make a statement. I recently tried the Sharpie S-Gel pens, and (although these are not FUN pens) they are pretty functional. They write smooth and bold don’t bleed through the paper too much, unless the paper is really thin like my bullet journal paper. That paper-pen combo was a no-go! Anyway, I would recommend these ink pens.
